Hi Folks, I’m Igor Costa, but my sure name is Igor Petronio Costa, I’m a Brazilian citizen living in Sao Paulo. I’m a software developer and I’m a former Macromedia Flash Team.
For 7 years ago I’ve started working with Macromedia Flash 3 as a multimedia developer for mine small company in northeast of Brazil. After shooting up my old lifestyle of work I’ve updated my knowledge and updated my curriculum start doing some server-side technology. I saw people and companies like google growing up, blogger and people like Robert Reinhardt a big friend, Joey Lott a special guy who I like a lot, Marco Casario, Jesse Warden and Mike Downey (now Sr. Apollo Product Manager)He left Adobe in end of 2008. Those of dozen guys that I love and I have all respect.
Here in Brazil today my enroll is to develop, teach and evangelism the Flash Player platform in field of Flex/AIR/Java, at RIACycle LLC.
Part of my time are to create, solve and giving solutions for the clients, I’ve tooked up the Flash for a while and dedicated my time exploring and leading Flex as a maximum uses.
Almost five years ago I’ve created a user-group called Flex-Brasil, where developers could discuss and learn in our own language (Portuguese, not Spanish) and today we’ve broken the limits where reaches out more than 1,400 members.
In international scenarios I’ve never bloged before. I’ve been blog over the igorcosta.com in Portuguese version since 2002, where it’s good resource of Adobe products(formerly Macromedia Flash player target solutions). And lot’s of people knew it.
In the end of 2006, I thought that I could start bloging in English to express my developer needs and some kick ass solutions that could encourage people to create and go beyond their limitations.
I except that I could help people and I’m completely glad to see you here reading a little bit more about me.
All suggestions, criticism are very very welcome.
See you on next posts.
