I’m not sure where I can get start talking about this post, my brain are exploding in ideas of what make sure to investing money on a thing that makes real business on Flash Lite mobile world not only dreams but in real life.
But as follow as simple way, lets start talking about in your first step to the journey. Some years ago when Macromedia (today Adobe) decided to port Flash player for mobile opened up a new layer of business model that take advantages of new level of business plan on mobile development. And I thought on that time and said to myself “wow”. This is really great news not for developers/designers but to entire end users that could have more options and could have flash assets running on their mobile with little limitation but does.
Time passing, many companies exploded in the marketing, Version assigned contract with Adobe to be a very solid market share in the world of mobile and now that’s the point when I’m getting into on why I wrote the topic of this post.
You may never know this company before called i2Tecnologia(in english i2Technology), who also a founded by two guys that I had and idea to solve more problems, because when a thing is sucess like flash lite means that you need to keep doing work to be better then even before.
The i2Technology begun with 2 younger guys “Felipe Andrade and Luciano Ayres”, with a simple quote “create a leap ahead on mobile method for other software houses like Nokia, Motorola, Symbian Fundation.” And myself asked them “does you really know what are you talking about”. the answer was not dificult or delayed to said”yes”.
That’s really true, after two years of researching, testing, fighting for keep the company alive they did great piece of software that never, never saw before on the any other google,ask, a9, msn searching sites talking about their ideas before.
Flyer is a great software framework that extract the better from Symbian OS, now their had victorious on the what they promised. Flyer you can extract and do more with Flash lite possibilities integrating with Symbian OS.
But why to have a good software that you believes that has a huge success if you don’t have money to investing on it to contract more people, more research ? That’s the point of my post, It’s an idea from a smaller company that changed an faced off new frontier that with hard work, believe me in Brazil to get investments from any company it’s hard because they think has no business plan.
If any mortal search on google “Flyer Framework” you will get almost 1.5 milion of results on this framework. Means that in World you have almost 5000 thousands of companies that develop in Mobile and it’s bigger or not comparing from i2Technology, That could visit the guys there and help them to make more research and create a investiments on the ideas of them to make really in house of billions.
Think “Tornado”? , isn’t the house distroyer it’s a new software the help Flash Lite content to be more gamed , to be more colaborative and multi-player game via bluetooth. Imaginate how many companies will use the software and business with it.
You may think that big companies has a lot to give to their customers, it’s true, but create something not viewed before none. Adobe could be a good investor on them, but who knows about the future, only God knows.
Don’t think that I’m part of i2Tecnology, I’m just friend of their owners and I give my word, if theses guys told me 2 years ago that could do it, I don’t glambing with them that in any other ideas of them. They just need a chance in this world people, they really work hard without nothing in exchange. I was there to training their team to do more research on Flex 3 development for one entire day because they said “hey We are excited about Flex and we need help to propouse new frontiers.”.
Visit the Luciano Ayres and Felipe Andrade Blogs, and make sure that real business could happen if you listen them for 10 minutes. I’m sure that if I had money to invest on them I’m sure that things happen.
Adobe, Nokia, Motorola, Helio see theses guys with more careful. I know because I was there and anyone see what only two did.
