So, after many weeks on sartudays and sundays I’ve translated the entire Flex Language Reference from Flex 2 SDK to portuguese version. Is not avaible yet, but it’s my child.
I did that because some of clients in a consulting traning session said to me “Why Adobe doesn’t release a portuguese version of Flex due to we Already have many people here using it?”.
I really stopped and frankquily said: I really don’t know why, can’t explain this.
So, I decided to stop hang out in movie theaters and then stop date (”Sorry my lovely wife, I’m glad to have you undrestand”). But is done.
Maybe Adobe Could be instresting in help me in some aspect. Or don’t know if I can release it public or even for clients who bought the Flex Builder.
I just translated every detailed and adapted some functions like CreditCardValidator to Brazil circustances and some of them like PopUpManager class to add more methods. it’s a good ammount of work.

You should tell us and I’ll ask some folks what options there are. Hopefully we can figure something out.
Hmm. I know that the documentation and globalization teams inside Adobe have been working to make things like this easier, but I’m not sure of the current state of the project. (I’ve been working at home a lot lately, nursing a sprained leg, and am a little bit out of the loop.)
Maybe the best contact point at the moment might be the LiveDocs section, a front page on the Flex docs or such? When I look at the general Adobe Documentation page I don’t see a better access point, so contacting the Flex docs team directly via LiveDocs may be the best starting place…?

Congratulations for the job
